LSU was the better "team" which includes special teams. Get a better kicker to go with that defense.

We were mirror images of each other except for special team. Your D was fantastic as well as ours. Both of our offenses were negated due to the D. Special teams was the difference. Bama and LSU are the best teams in the nation period. I don't want to see you guys again until next year.

No doubt 'Bama is the second best team in the country. I'll give you credit, your defense shut us down. But you also need to respect what we did. We came into your house and took a game away from you. We gave you so many chances but y'all didn't take advantage. No, we didn't beat you like we've beaten everyone else but we scored more points in your stadium.

Absolutely. This game basically came down to about 4 or 5 plays that literally decided the outcome. Both of the interceptions that LSU made were much, much bigger plays than our interceptions. One saved a probable TD, and the other provided field position to tie the score. Those 2 plays, plus the overthrow to Trent in OT on what would have been at least a first down inside the 10 were all 3 huge plays that went LSU's way. At the end of the day we didn't make the plays on those 3 plays and LSU did. Congrats. That and the missed FG's in the first half were truly the 5 plays that decided this game.
We need a damn kicker. LOL.
