deangelo peterson should not be telling the press that alabama is too slow to cover him.

bulletin board material is an oxymoron when refering to this game.

No one needs any extra motivation.

If that's what he believes and he goes out and blows by the bama defense, then I say let him say whatever the hell he wishes.

Who gives a frick? You think those comments will have any effect on Saturday's outcome in a game like this?

Don't mind it to much. Little trash talk is ok, in a game like this. Just my opinion. Thing is, he's probably right.

D-Lo shouldn't have said it, but there are some true a-holes who just fanned the flames by running with it.

Over & done with, in my book.

I didnt like it either, but it happens.... If you interview enough young 20 year old's, you will get one of them to say something they prolly wished they didnt. If that is the worse bulletin board material we give them, I will be happy.

has he said more, or has "I don't think their LB's or safeties can cover me 1 on 1" morphed into "their LB's are big and slow"

Because he can let his talking be done by his performance on the field, not taking shots at the competition in an interview IMHO.
