If it werent such a hugely hyped nationally exposed game, Id say watch out for the refs. I think to many people are watching for the refs to obviously blow it.

I think the officials will be impartial. I am betting the SEC sends their all star crew. This will be the most scrutinized game of the year.

In the past, yea. Not this year. Refs have been alot better this year than in the past.

I would go as far as to say there are going to be at least 3 bad calls that go Alabama's way. There's going to be holding calls all over the place on us. There will be pass interference calls that don't get called on their secondary. I can just here the announcers now... "It looks to me like he got there a little early on Randle." There will be cheap shots on the QB's much like there was last year that were no calls (led with helmet into JJ after he threw a pass and no flag). I don't think they'll be able to take away the 2 interceptions Mo & HB are going to get, but they will at least bring them to review.

Non of it will matter though....

We are going to beat the BREAKS off of Bama next week. You'll see Saban bleeding from the forehead when he busts a blood vessel after Les throws a trick play at him. Meanwhile I'll be basking in the glory. Watching as my BCS NC LSU Reservations come to fruition. I've already reserved my hotel in New Orleans. It's going to be beautiful.

will decide the outcome of the Bama game?

I only hope the Refs will be fair and not call for Bama as in the past.

Such a big game, I like to imagine there'd be no shenanigans. Unfortunately history is what it is. Hopefully not though.

I think both teams are disciplined enough on both sides of the ball that the refs don't have to throw many flags anyways.

In a game of this magnitude I would hope not.
It did seem like they did everything they could to protect Bama and Fla a couple of years ago to get that SEC Championship matchup

Now you have the matchup and I think the officials will not decide the outcome, because the Fla Bama title game was officiated pretty well

If the game is close, we will get screwed. But it doesn't have to decide the game. It's just a risk you take when playing at Aub and Bama.

My only hope is they flag that bastard Kirkpatrick for uneccessary roughness early to stem his dirty play. He may be the dirtiest player in the SEC, I can't tell you how many times I've watched them this year when I've seen that bastard lead with the helmet.

Won't be a problem this year, IMO. If anything, the refs will just let the players play. I think we'll see under 60 yards penalties combined, most of which are procedural penalties.

It wont' be obvious, but one or two critical calls will favor Bama that should go to LSU. Book it. That's all the edge a good team like Bama needs.

Since the game is going to be prime time, I'm hoping officiating comes into play.
