You don't think Lacy/Richardson is better than Ware/Ford?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How many yards rushing did Richardson/Ingram gain on LSU last year?

You beat me to it. That gives me confidence that we can do it again this time against one Heisman hopeful and his friends, instead of a Heisman hopeful and a Heisman winner that Bama had in the backfield last year.

We have the formula that Chief already had success with against this team.

You can only play 1 RB at a time

Not true......we could line Ford/Hilliard up as fullback

Having a fresh guy in the 4th quarter could be huge in a game like this.......depth could play a part.

My biggest concern is that our D-Line comes to play and takes some of the load off of our LB's and D backfield. I'm sure Bama has the same concerns with Ware blowing up Corner's and Safties

About how Bama has a "home field advantage" in this one- because I don't believe they do- unless the refs are hand-picked.

Tired of hearing stuff like Jason Sehorn's comment, "With Alabama, you know what you get...smashmouth football and stifling defense...with LSU, it's a bag of tricks." (paraphrased)

What an idiot! What bag of tricks is he referring to?

the bag of tricks is how you never know what LSU will pull, fake punts, disgused passing schemes, defenses... you just never know.. LSU will do what ever it takes, as long as its clean.. to win. They will hit you hard, wear you out run you to death, you just never know what or how to prepare.. I dont see the bag of tricks as a bad thing..

I am tired of hearing that LSU will have to beat the refs...the refs all live in Alabama...the league is cheating, etc. This is idiotic and makes anyone who posts about it look stupid.

While I agree to an extent.....There is no doubt this LSU team is a POWER team and wants to wear down opponents.

I'm not taking sides in the game, but I think this RB depth thing is so overblown by LSU fans.

That's just because you're used to watching lame big 10 football.

You watch the game on Nov. 5th, you won't see hittingl ike that - on both sides - in any other game of the season.

Let's just say that both Richardson and Ware get knocked out in the 1st half. Do you really think depth isn't important?

Last year Richardson got knocked out of the game - LSU won.

In 2009 LSU's starting RB, Scott, got knocked out of the game - Alabama won.

You have to have quality depth at ALL positions to win the Alabama/LSU game.

I hate it when they keep referring to Jarrett Lee as a back up quarterback.

I think we are better at RB and here is why. If Trent goes down, they have nothing. Lacy is not Richardson. We have four to five top notch RBs that will wear the bama defense out. Oh yeah and our QB(s) is better.

Which show?
Because we actually do multiple through the season. We're not the Aggie band.

AlHunter and all the Bammers that keep quoting STATS...stats do not go out there on the field...
I can remember games back in the day, LSU would run the ball up and down the field on Bama, stats would be in our favor, but we lost. The SCOREBOARD is the only stat that matters..

I had to work this Saturday and thus missed the broadcast; but this in regards to our backs- "____ is good- but not in the same class as Richardson of course"

Do you really need to backhand our back every single time he makes a play? Jeez, try to keep it focused on the game in front of you. I'm pretty sure the average viewer in, say, Ohio or somewhere, is thinking LSU looks pretty strong, and yet keeps hearing about Bama during OUR games.

Along that point- do the announcers bring up the Michigan qb during Wisconsin or Mich St games?

Hell, just talk about the players in the game you got.

The RB comparison aside...I am tired of hearing that Alabama has a QB/passing advantage. What the hell has Macaroni done that is so impressive? His stats are worse than Lee's and LSU QB's combined have 16 TD's and 1 pick while Bama is 10 and 5. Plus, the LSU QB's are seniors and AJ Macaroni is a first year starter.

My Gump boss giving me grief about how bad they will make us look on 11/5...that we are "overrated".
