Spread him out with a short dump pass or an end around and let him do his magic.

btw, if we are going to throw downfield send RR and Beckham not RS.

At one point in the game, when they were driving towards where I was seated, I watched #10 against man to man. He just cannot get seperation for some reason. Maybe the plays weren't called for him, but hell...he's in the route. Shouldn't everyone in the route be trying to get open?

Seems like quick slants would suit his game. Seems like his first move is his best move, but after that, he's got nothing to get seperation.

I like that Jefferson/Shepard spread option set. If we're not going to see Shepard in the wildcat, I'll take this as a consolation.

A lot of guys need more touches however that's not how the offensive scheme is set up for this season.

We are not very talented at WR this year. After RR and OBJ, there's a pretty huge dropoff. But I was very encouraged by the different ways they used Shep yesterday. That's where he'll be most effective, in that hybrid role.

Nonsense. We're more than talented enough at WR to throw more than 10-15 times a game. Its obvious RR needs more looks.

I'm however fine with how the offense is set up this season. I see us throwing a little more heading into Nov and we won't have a choice on the 5th.

name me one team that has a better pair of receivers than those 2. We might have the best core of receivers in the country. the problem is not the receivers but the fact that we are a run first team with a dominant defense.

They have more passes thrown to them, but they are not better.

Shep has never been used properly since arriving on campus. He needs the ball in space. Ford needs more touches as well.

I think Saban will catch on that we like to run between the tackles and take that away.
