That the Big 12 will offer an invitation to Louisville by the end of the week.

what is Kentucky folks obsession with that site?

the highly sought after cardinals
Posted on 10/4/11 at 10:24 pm to Bho
That would suck for West Virginia & Cincy, guess TCU wouldn't be joining the Big East.

If UL heads to the Big XII, and WVU to the SEC, do Cincy and USF have to crawl back to CUSA?
Posted on 10/4/11 at 10:47 pm to Bho
this was all over Austin radio today
Louisville
TCU
BYU
Cincinnati
in that order
Louisville
TCU
BYU
Cincinnati
in that order

It's a large step down but... Its a decent fix.

they've started to coin it the "blegh12"

If true, Rick Pitino is soon to retire...

It's the main source for UK stuff (updated most often, more info, entertaining). I'm not sure what your point is.

He has been near begging the Big East to stay together. At least he had the whole Big East basketball thing to tell recruits. I'm sure his main recruiting grounds will be really excited to go play Big 12 basketball.
ETA: UK fans "obsession" to that site is because over the years the founder has planted deep roots in the program and gets really good info. They update as soon as they hear something credible and the best part is, you don't have to pay for it.

Or football for that matter. I don't see Hurtt's Miami kids being too excited to go play in Manhattan, KS or Stillwater, OK.

The Big East is pretty bad in football. I'm not sure the Big 12 with all the defections wouldn't be better for them. We all know how Hurtt gets his recruits anyways.

True, but the B12 isn't a whole lot better anymore. Still a step up, though.

He would have Kansas in basketball

I don't know that Louisville is typically better than Kansas. People not from here only remember the Petrino years, when they were very good. They're typically awful and pretty much always have been.

I've thought about this myself. I for one, would find it pretty funny. Funnier if it happened to Louisville.

Those Big 12 schedules are going to be terrible.
