If WVU and Mizzou are 14/15, I really believe FSU would be #16.

Also possible. That's why we're all waiting with baited breath to see what happens.

Would be the saving grace in bringing Mizzou/WVU in. Exactly what I thought after seeing this AFTER the Mizzou stuff. That'll give 2 west, 2 east and keep divisions balanced.

I like how Mizzou has the same rumors at the same time. SEC to 16?
Best of all possible worlds; alternative reality --> is it possible an existing SEC team is stepping down?

Still don't understand why on Earth the SEC would bring in another small market and extremely academically weak (they'd be the lowest ranked in the SEC) university to join the league. I'd rather them just stick at 13 than grab WVU. They bring almost nothing to the table.

Solid football program and they'd instantly be the second best basketball program in the conference.

If WVU and/or Mizzou get in, does that mean that Aggies are officially tenured members of the SEC, and can join the other 12 teams in bitching about the new guy?

Your twitter source there is doing a good deal of distancing himself from his previous statements.

I wish you other Mountaineer fans would just shut it until it's official. You make yourselves look desperate.

I'll take gonorrhea...I hated genital warts when we played them a few weeks ago and don't want to see them again.

Sure...why not?

WVU would be a perennial 5-7 to 8-4 team in the SEC. You are not going to win consistently in this conference without a solid base of homegrown talent and excellent facilities. Picking up scraps in Florida will never win you very many SEC games.

I would welcome them in though just to keep the divisions the same.

Is this accurate? I will take your word on it because I'm too lazy to look it up , but Ole Miss' academics are pretty damn bad. The entrance requirements are a 2.5 GPA and a 16 on the ACT... can't get much worse than that.
