See? I cannot stay mad at you PJ. Your passion is a freakin' weapon of mass destruction. Although I considered you part of the Sabanistas, I was never convinced you were for Saban against LSU (like many of the other Sabanistas, most of whom have departed the Rant). If I ever actually said that on here, I take it back.

Will Muschamp's debut against a good quality football team like Alabama was a bust. Muschamp took over the defense at Florida because that's his coaching preference. He's suppose to be good at it. He hired Charlie Weis to take over the offensive responsibility. When coach Weis lost his starting quarterback Brantley to injury in the Alabama game, Florida's offense was rendered helpless for the remainder of the game.
But most glaring of all was Muschchamp's defense. Giving away to the Alabama offensive line surge. Muschamp's defensive powers was non existent. Florida does have good quality athletes on both sides of the line of scrimmage. I expected more from the new Florida coaching staff.
Muschamp's debut is a bust in my eyes, if Florida is not playing a cupcake, they lose. Charlie Weis' offense was doing fine as long as Brantley stayed healthy. Muschamp's coaching debut against a strong team could have been saved by the Gator's offense if Brantley stayed healthy. But Brantley's injury sealed Florida's fate because Muschamp's defense was not getting the job done all night long.
I don't believe that ... UF started strong and played right with Bama until that PICK SIX broke them ... Then Brantley, shaken after that, never recovered and went out
Florida is without good depth at skill positions and is a couple of years away from challenging
Imagine it's your first year as coach!
This Florida team will recruit, will get great players and will challenge for SEC titles over the next decade ... and Muschamp will be the coach
Mark it!

LMAO....you obviously were not there...and I won't debate with a kid who has no clue. Again, for the people who were there....the crowd was completely lifeless, as were the players.....the writing was on the wall from the start. Miles doesn't let his teams very often pull crap like saban has been known to do.
Troy, Tulane, Louisiana Tech...yes we won these games but they were terrible opponents.

And Chris Leak was the #1 QB coming out of high school that year...not a good comparison

As well as Florida's backup.
I hope this is sarcasm? Driskel was the number #1 QB coming out of high school this year.

How can they not have good quality athletes? Every year they finish top 5 for recruiting classes!

Grandad, their qb isnt good. Other than one run what makes you think they can win with him. You think hes netter than lee or jj or nett? The answer is no.
True freshman with 1a week to prepare. So yes i have this written down as a win, same with auburn. Not tenn, bama, or ark though.
Look at what weis did with a good qb, wr, and rb against LSU. Nothing.

This is TOTALLY IRRELEVANT.

I think you are over-confident.

WOW why even play the games then????

You can indeed write down two guaranteed wins based on the remaining schedule.
But Florida and Auburn do not qualify.
At all.

Florida is no joke, but they won't be very good with their freshman QB.

Clm coaching will keep it close, its either teams game to win in the 4th quarter!

It's fun to go read old threads that you posted in.
I think my response to PJ was 100% on point...

He's about as good as Morgan Newton.

On that note, moneyg (and Choctaw, Prom, etc.) - our old friend, Nuts4LSU is back. He's had about a half dozen posts (so far) since Saturday - after just a few days short of a yearlong absence.
$hit's about to get real.

Bama D is good... I do not believe they are as fast as our D... Bama's D is built more for the run stop... IMO... I think before its over with LSU will win by 3 score.... lets talk sunday!

I do not see Fla. being able to hang around that long..... you seriously under estimate our D, it wont be about CLM keeping it close... it will be all about Fla. being smothered by our D and special teams, which gives us great field position, and they will not be able to contain our offense for very long... I look for one of the backs to have a big day...
