IF Missouri joins, new cross-division rivals?

Assuming Missouri goes to the East...
Arkansas/Missouri.
LSU/South Carolina.
Florida/Texas A&M.
Does that sound somewhat reasonable? Or does it stay as is, and Missouri/Texas A&M becomes the new cross division rivalry?
I feel like Arkansas is far and away the most annoying team I have ever seen, and I would prefer them play their Ozark brethren in the corner. Stop having LSU play Florida every year, and let A&M get some of that action. We need the extra exposure, LSU doesn't.

Assuming Missouri goes to the East
Bama/AU
Mizzou/Tennessee
A&M/UGA
that is my best guess

I'm sure Tennessee fans will be thrilled with giving up by far their biggest rivalry game for annual contests against Mizzou.
I wish everyone would get over this weird hangup with Mizzou joining the SEC East.

It doesn't seem too unreasonable,

Texas A&M joins west. Mizzou joins west. Slide Bama and Auburn East and then Move Vandy or Kentucky west.

Mizzou needs to just go to the east and everything stays intact.

I still think if we add 2 west teams we move bama/AU east and vandy west
keeps bama/tenn and au/uga games every year so no need for perm. est/west rivals

Auburn goes east, Mizzou and A&M to the west until the SEC hits 16. This is not only because of geography, but something needs to be done to cool things down in Alabama.

I can't see Alabama, Auburn, Florida, UGA and Tennessee all in the same division.
5 of the 6 traditional SEC powers would be in one division....It would sure make LSU's road to the championship game a lot easier evry year though.

Huh? so why not ship out a MS team? When we add FL St, they can come west...

but look at the team maps, vandy is farther west then the bama schools, and you keep AU/UGA, TENN/Bama, and Bama/AU every year, so you get rid of having to play fixed east/west games
I know it doesn't make a lot of since on stacking sides, but teams vary on strength per decade anyway

Yeah. It isn't going to matter. This conference is about to become A&M's bitch anyway. Stack em all in the East so the best team rises up for the honor of getting knocked on their arse when they play us in the championship game.

It is Mizzo to the west and Auburn slides over.

With 14:
Bama-Aubie
LSU-Fla
Arky-TN
MS-Vandy
MSU-SC
A&M-GA
MO-KY
With 16:
Same as now, except add MO-NC State & A&M-Va Tech

The logo placement in that map is off. Nashville is between Tuscaloosa and Auburn (stictly speaking of east vs west)...basically due north of Birmingham.

How much of a say do you think Tennessee and Alabama would get? If those were the proposed divisions, would anyone other than Tennessee and Bama have a problem with it?

Unfortunately, probably no one else but Bama and UT fans. We're suppose to just give up the most historically important rivalry in SEC history so that Missouri isn't inconvenienced in any way. It's either that or make the SEC East so much harder than the West so that LSU and A&M can take turns cakewalking to the conference title game in a severely watered down SEC West. Don't you just love the choices?
Heaven forbid we inconvenience Missouri even the slightest bit when we can blow up the successful divisional format that has worked for 20 years instead.

Hey guy. How bout you shut your fricking mouth and keep your opinions to yourself. We'll let you know who you're going to play when its time. Capice

AL/TN has got to be the most insignificant significant game in the history of NCAA football. Ahything before say 1975 has very little to due with the game today. There's a reason why primarily only AL and TN give a shite about this game.
