Texas and Oklahoma officials will meet over the next few days to work out an agreement to keep them in the Big 12 conference for the next 5 years.

wow...a WHOLE 5 YEARS!
I assume Mizzou will just bail with TAMU and be done with it...if they have a clue.

Bob Stoops and that entire university are nothing but gigantic pussies.

Actually the chancellor at Missouri has been pushing for the Big 12 to stay together all along and IF Oklahoma and Texas work out an agreement, then Missouri will stay in the Big 12 and wait for a Big 10 invite. Texas A&M would still move to the SEC.

Didn't they just agree on a "five year deal" a year ago?
Posted on 9/20/11 at 11:29 pm to wvubrandon
What a joke...no way that works now after all of this.

I know that's what you want...because it may open the door for WVU to the SEC. Not that that's a bad thing...

Monumental idiots. They thought they held all the cards and didn't have jack. Mizzou is the one team now in the driver's seat that can either save the BIG XII or toss a grenade into the room on their way out the door. I'm LMMFAO.

5 years? As often as the Big 12 has been on life support lately, you'd think they'd eventually come up with a viable, long-term stability plan.
They should boot Beebe and contact Boise, BYU and TCU if they want anyone to believe they can actually survive.

I'm serious. These guys are assholes.

We have come full circle.
WVU back in the mix. WVU fans thought it was over. How ironic, with a game vs the top SEC team in the nation a few days away.
Posted on 9/20/11 at 11:36 pm to wvubrandon
The dignity of both of those programs took a MAJOR hit.
Forever unwanted
Forever alone.

West Virginia to the SEC!

Wait, you sure you're not talking about WVU? That's exactly how we always feel

I'd rather just have the SEC at 13 for a year. This realignment shite isn't over with (Big 12). Wait til next year to make a run at a better team then WVU.
Posted on 9/20/11 at 11:43 pm to CunningLinguist
Gosh, if I stay up another hour I might hear Texas and OU to the SEC!
Posted on 9/20/11 at 11:43 pm to CunningLinguist
Which mean the big east got screwed for nothing.
Posted on 9/20/11 at 11:47 pm to Duzz
Your right, now the Big East is screwed cause schools didn't want to be the last one standing. Wow what a night!
