Agreed. If true, then Mizzou should go East and call it a day. No need to upset rivalries and divisions, unless we plan on going to 16 (which I hope we don't).

Driving to Mizzou is about as much fun as hanging out in Starkville for 12 hours.

Probably have to fly to this game.

Come on Slive. Grow some balls and just give unconditional invitations. How is Baylor and their 18 wins in 15 seasons of Big 12 football allowed to hold up conference re-alignment?

Slow down buddy. aTm is coming to the SEC. Why not wait another week and avoid a 15 million buyout and a hundred million dollar lawsuit?

I've been to three baseball series in Columbia. It's a really cool town, and a really pretty area.

Personally, I really like the A&M addition. I'm not crazy about Mizzou, and would rather have FSU as the first pick. But since that seems unlikely, I'd take Mizzou over WVU.

Then fly. They have airports there now.

West needs Mizzou to be a playmate for Arky once LSU and A&M start playing every Thanksgiving weekend. Hence the two eastern teams...

I hope they just stick Mizzou in the East and leave everyone else alone.

I'm in favor of this. I'd much rather have Missouri in the East than Auburn obviously and it doesn't matter in basketball anymore because the divisions are in the process of being scrapped there.

Or Mizzou can be in the East and play Arkansas as their West permanent cross-over.

Wonderful. Another tiger. Hey let's offer Clemson to make it four. Really dilute the shite.

It fits our needs at this point and, at least it's contiguous. Good population/markets, decent athletics, and strong academics.

Now, there has to be an very large, ironclad buyout contract to keep them from jumping to the Big 10 at the first chance.

the idiot source in that link is liable to lose that offer if he keeps saying that we were the ones who called them (tampering)

ETA: Better than Louisville and helps with TV stuff I dont hate it, but I dont love it either. They have been mediocre in a mediocre conference for a while

What good does it do for the SEC/A&M/Mizzou to put themselves in jeopardy of a possible lawsuit? What good comes from announcing A&M and Missouri right this second?

It's all happening. Just be patient. There is no upside to announcing as fast as you can. There is, however, a downside to announcing as fast as you can.

Mizzou will stay in the West as FSU and VT are added from the East.
