Ranters, you are taking all the fun out of this victory

I always expect some bitching here and there about nit-picky bullshite from the ranters, but y'all have hit a new low. We just beat the shite out of the #3 team in the country.....not to mention the fact they were in the BCSNC game in Jan. We impressed the nation, and the media. Y'all must live miserable lives to have to bitch about a HUGE victory for our program.
Our defense played a GREAT game, and I think the coaches put together the offensive gameplan fine. We did everything that we wanted to on both sides of the ball. The running game worked out exactly how Miles wanted it. Wear them down in the second half. So how is it that just because Lee didnt throw for 250 yards, it ruins everything LSU accomplished.

They always find something to complain about. most have never played the game so they have no clue about what they say. If we would have Thrown for 300 yards and ran for 500 yards they would have found something to bitch about.
They can't enjoy a win over the #3 team and we looked better then those ranked above us.

This may sound crazy but think about it, but I really think alot of the problem is with a large part of LSU fans also being Saints fans. They are spoiled with great QB play from Drew Brees, that anything less than a Drew Brees like performance by Lee or any LSU QB is unacceptable.

I know what you're talking about. I was in the game thread until it got ridiculous with the negatigers, then I bailed out and enjoyed watching the rest of the game without the bitching.

You really have to be happy with that win. We knocked off the #3 team in the country and didn't even need a cardiac event inducing finish to do it. Sure there are things to work on, but that really only makes it all the better to me because we'll work on improving those things. We trashed #3 and we're going to get BETTER! Hell yeah!

I agree. But I think in this particular instance it's a phenomenom relatled the the internet.
I know at our watch party it was rocking and everybody was waaaaaaayyy pumped up for the Tigers. Heck even the two primarily Bama fans there were cheering for LSU.
Of course the Crown and the Jerimiah Weed may have had something to do with our enthusiasim. But there was no nitpicking going on at all.
