3) OBJ catches a nice ball from Lee for over 30 yards. Not a great throw but a nice play none the less. Wait whats this, a mythical holding call. Are you kidding me?

This was a huge call at the time.

On the sideline play I thought they were marking where the receiver actually first caught the ball, before being thrown backward and stepping out on the sideline.

#3. Reminded me of the UNC game last year where LSU had a 30-10 lead after a long TD run, and a phantom hold was made on T-Bob to keep the "Game of the Week" close. Luckily, LSU is a better team this year. We nearly lost the UNC game last year, and that call, along with the onside kick BS nearly cost LSU the game.

We need our team to hurt like this in the next few weeks. Once we start SEC play and have to deal with the most corrupt refs in CFB, we will have to overcome many bad calls.

Just wait until we go to Tuscaloosa in November. You haven't seen anything yet.

I wonder if Miles wipes out solid plays in practice due to bad calls? He should if he doesn't. Get the team mentally prepared for the inevitable.

Don't forget the 1st down by Ore that was overturned after Les challenged it. Ref was staring right at the receiver going out of bounds short of the sticks.

That was incredible...what the hell was the ref looking at??? At least we got it overturned, but seriously, how did he miss that call??!

You have a point, but Jesus dude, you may want to dip into the company pillbank for some downers.

ETA: And I think the phantom holding call (as some may have already alluded to) was supposed to be on Blackwell.

Surprised no one has mentioned the "lowering of the helmet" call.

I've never seen that personal foul called when the defensive player didn't even hit the receiver.

How about the leading with the helmet call against Loston on third down for an Oregon first on a drive that eventually ended in an Oregon touchdown. He didn't even make contact, but he apparently "intended" to hit with the helmet.

LSU won the game going away. STFU.

LSU got away with a shitload of holding calls last night.

did they call that holding on Longergan? He literally did nothing the entire play. Horrible call if it was on him.

I argued this in a previous thread this morning, but replay shows Blackwell grabbing the OU D-linemen's jersey and pulling him down. If you look at the replay, it's on the interior line.

Holding isnt even a real penalty as it happens on every play

That was actually a great call.

Loston launched himself at the WR. Had LSU's other defender not been there to pull the WR down ahead of time, that would have been a brutal ILLEGAL hit.

Both teams did. Not only in that game, but every other game this weekend.

Yea, I mean they needed to at least send a message to cut that shite out. But I was annoyed that he basically didnt actually commit a penalty. But it was important to get the message across.

What about the pass interference that wasn't called? Beckham in the endzone and the DB never even turned around, but no call.
