Plus throwing the ball up into the air is pretty retarded.

eta: It just is, it shouldnt have to be explained. The difference should be obvious to anyone not trying to troll.

After catching the ball for a first down, Oregon's WR throws the ball in the air. Surely unsportsmanlike conduct right. Surely a 15 yard penalty. Nah, not today.

That one could have gone either way but Kelly pulled him off the field right away and you could see one of the coaches getting on him about it.

After the botched snap fumble, Ware pounced on the ball. On further review it appeared at least to me that Ware had secured the ball on the ground. After a Duck speared him, the ball popped loose once again. Surely a reviewable call. Surely this wasnt a turnover. Nah, not today.

I saw that, but I know the refs didn't. That was on the LSU coaching staff to realize and challenge.

OBJ catches a nice ball from Lee for over 30 yards. Not a great throw but a nice play none the less. Wait whats this, a mythical holding call. Are you kidding me?

Only definitive blown call I saw all night.

The call was totally legit. Wrong number called, but Blackwell grabbed and tackled his guy.

You know they missed that call because ABC showed the coach on the sidelines asking the player "WTF were you doing?" So I think he thought it was a penalty.

So the refs were at it once again last night, yet our Tigers overcame their ignorance. So tonights blown call award recipients are:

1) After catching the ball for a first down, Oregon's WR throws the ball in the air. Surely unsportsmanlike conduct right. Surely a 15 yard penalty. Nah, not today.

2) After the botched snap fumble, Ware pounced on the ball. On further review it appeared at least to me that Ware had secured the ball on the ground. After a Duck speared him, the ball popped loose once again. Surely a reviewable call. Surely this wasnt a turnover. Nah, not today.

I'll second all three of these

Beckham in the endzone and the DB never even turned around, but no call.

There is no face-guarding penalty in college.

Don't forget the 1st down by Ore that was overturned after Les challenged it. Ref was staring right at the receiver going out of bounds short of the sticks.

That was ridiculous!! Not only did he step out of bound two yards short of the first down, but he also had his hand out of bounds! Plus he looked 18 yrs old. It makes me wonder how he got on a Big XII crew!

Did anyone else see when Randall scored and that ref that was right beside him didn't even smile? Man, they were out to get us.

this, of course. literally nothing went on that would remotely give the distinction of holding. if you're going to call that, you have to call that unsportsmanlike penalty.

4) **Late addition** - The Loston unsportsmanlike conduct call. Not real sure about that one. It looked to me that had he made contact it could have been a call but, it seemed he whiffed on the hit. Dont forget this happened on 3rd down and led to a Ducks TD.

It was a totally legitimate call. Blackwell held his guy and pulled him down.

Guys settle down. This is a Message Board. You know, to post a topic to generate conversation. Youd think I insulted someone's dying mother. Calm down.

Im completely happy with the outcome of the game. Loved the win. Im very satisfied with the way we played last night. Im by no means trying to nitpick the little negatives of the win.

However, I felt like there were some pretty bad calls last night, that were worth talking about today. If you dont want to talk about it, then GTFO, dont open the thread or post in it. Im sure you can find plenty of other threads on this site that you may actually want to add something meaningful to.

And what does this even mean. And HOW does it matter??? SERIOUS. I chime in cause evidently you want ZERO calls on LSU and Don't let the other team get away with anything. Thats sad.

only LSU fan would bitch about the refs when ORG had 12 penalties for 95 yards compared to our 5 for 47. Ridiculous
