They have him starting at Nickel as well. So, more than likely, whenever LSU is in nickel, you'll see Simon at CB

This. Which means TM is on the field more which everyone should like. Kid is always around the ball.

You post on the recruiting board. You should know not to look at stars.

3 weeks ago, According to this board, Landry was the hands down starter, no doubt.

I'm pretty sure Rivals rated Landry as the fourth best WR recruit in the country last year and Beckham as the sixth best or some such, so they were both highly touted, as far as I can recall.

All three of the true freshman WR. Beckham, Landry and Turner are the real deal. Beckham would have been a five star if they wouldn't given it to Landry, they probably didn't want Louisiana to have two 5 star receivers.

No one else notices Hilliard in the fullback column..? Think he stays there with the talent at RB?

i was under the assumption that landry was better then OBJ. Odell is small, i hope he is physical enough.

Landry was hurt and that allowed Odell to pass him up. Don't get me wrong.. if they weren't in the same high school class, Odell would have been a 5* WR.

And he was the number 1 rated cover corner coming out of high school. That's the main reason schools started noticing him, it's also a big reason he got to play so early last year. Plus he's a headhunter.

or Minter

Exactly. Minter is the Mike in the 4-3 and Hatcher comes in when we go to Nickel or even the 4-2-5.

It doesn't say OR

Mike 37 Karnell Hatcher 6-2 223 Sr.
46 Kevin Minter 6-2 242 S

Mitch Joseph was a starter and now he's the #4 TE? Did everybody else get better or did Joseph get worse?

If what I'm hearing is true, Beckham will be remembered around here far longer than Randle.

Looking at the specialists, Brad Wing #38 is the holder and Drew Alleman #38 is the kicker. Being that they will be on the field at the same time, how is this legal?

Drew is #30 according to the LSU Depth Chart.

Bigger question is how fast is Wing????

If we're rolling with Lee all year I think we are better served with shorter/quicker receivers.

Huh? Joseph was never a starting TE. He is our blocking TE. Peterson was the starting TE last year, best receiver of the bunch. Clement is a combo receiving/blocking TE.
