The witness also told officers that she saw sophomore linebacker Josh Johns, 21, attack the man and that several other LSU football players were present and possibly participated in the Aug. 19 fight at Shady’s bar, 623 E. Boyd Drive, the police reports say.

Well, Johns is a flat bill fan, though. So there's that.

THAT is shitty reporting. I am sure they have witness statements saying the opposite. AND, they could have easily led off with this:
quote:
Stone said it is still possible for the four men involved with the fight with the players to have criminal charges filed against them.

Hmm...
Maybe it's not "Jarvo" being yelled but "JoJo".
Frick if I know.
Too many damn players involved with "Ja" or "Jo" starting off their first and/or last names.

Good, a witness. I hope they arrest JJ and and the others involved and put them in jail.

Hard to find the truth when apparently this story is riddled with lies from both sides.
Innocent people have no reason to lie.

So involvement proven. Any word on instigation and whether this was a case of defending one's self?
Posted on 8/25/11 at 11:23 am to TheWhizzinator
How is that a police report?

Sad day for LSU football
Cue the "it's only a bar fight" morons.

why does a bar fight mean someone needs to go to jail. so from now on, whenever there is a fight with alcohol involved, we need to waste money on overcrowding jails? Unless you beat a man to death or cause traumatic injury, it's a drunk fight, you both get a simple battery charge and move on.
