Sarge that gets on my nerves too.
People being out in uniform ect.
Military people are just that though. People.
They have faults. They aren't perfect. There are a lot of shite heads in the military. Most are weeded out eventually though.

In this case, marines were drinking, the power trip probably came out, and the arse was beat. Seen it a billion times. I have no issue with it being a marine that got beat down. Judging off his FB page and other shite, he was a spotlight ranger. No big deal.
Most level-headed post of this thread.

Let me dumb it down for you.
My uncle worked for HealthSouth. Their CEO and CFO were convicted of fraud and embezzlement. My uncle had no knowledge of what was going on but the company he worked for was seen as a bunch of thieves and crooks.
Is my uncle a thief and a crook? No. But HealthSouth is still seen as a shady organization even though those two are in jail.

I've met some of the smartest people In the military.
And some of the dumbest.

somebody mentioned a reserve base near the airport. which again if we are talking about a reservist you are talking about someone who is only a "Marine" one weekend in a month..he is like a glorified ROTC kid. Probably had what he got coming to him for not knowing when to just shut up and not having someone to cover for him. I dont feel bad for the guy at all.

some very sick stuff was said last night.
i know the rant gets a little out of line, but the things being said last night on the lsu facebook page were a thousand times worse than anything i've ever seen here.

Im gonna open up a gunsmith/firing range/concealed carry class in Walker area or somewhere in Livingston. That way I can fix/modify/build guns and others wont have to mail shite off. I got plans.

I never stereotyped the marines. I also happen to know several marines who are great people. One of which is one of my good HS friends. I would trust that guy with my life.\
