I could be way off on this but I would assume that Coach Miles would have a strict policy on drinking right about now.
What's the chances that the players were sober and these "victims" were drunk and probably instigated the whole thing but wound up on the loosing end. Just a thought

probably the best case scenario for LSU.

If some of the people involved in this bar fight weren't LSU football players, 1) no ones panties would be in a bunch, 2) no one would be thinking of pressing charges, and, 3) lawyers would be all lolwut at the thought of pressing charges.
I'm not 'excusing' anything, FWIW. I simply am not going to go all banhammer on someone just because they're a football player when any old dumbass student at LSU would have gotten into the same kind of fight without anyone blinking an eye.

i agree.
and it seems like a marine would be able to handle himself better in a fight than a civilian anyway.
