What food did you once despise......but now love??

and on the flip side, what is something you once ate regularly, but won't even touch now?
For me, I always hated asparagus and just recently started eating it. Love it now and don't see that ever changing again.
When I was a little kid I loved mushrooms and would eat them raw by the carton. I can't stand them now and won't even eat a cooked portabella.

Used to be a very selective eater. Just a few examples of things I now love but even 7 years ago would have never touched
Oysters, olives, gin, licorice/anise flavored things.

Squash
Zuchinni
Still hate pickles. The only food that my taste buds completely reject.
I was hesitant about oysters till about 15. Now one of my favorites.

I remember when I refused to try Sushi rolls or Greek food. I still won't eat Broccoli or Squash or Cabbage.

Cabbage was one food I hated as a child now I love it. On other hand I absolutely despise brussel sprouts always have and always will.

My short list would be foods I actually ate. I was a very picky eater. The only green thing I ate was LeSeur green peas. Later, I moved toward green beans, but only fresh. I can't think of a vegetable right now that I don't like.
I had to leave the house if my Dad cooked mustard greens as a child which he had a tendency to do on Sundays. Today, I think they are downright aromatic and I love them.

1. Beans... as I kid I only ate snap beans. Now, I eat any kind of bean.
2. Cabbage ... didn't like the smell of cabbage cooking. Later discovered I love it in dishes served cold.

Avocado ... now i love it .. especially with Mexican food.
Also didn't like Asparagus ... now if i had a steak in front of me, it looks naked without asparagus.
Cilantro ... it's starting to grow on me ... only with Mexican food though.
Olives ... now i love olive SALAD, but to be honest, that's the only way ... no olives on anything else.
CONVERSELY, there are a few things that i refuse to eat now, because we ate SO MUCH of it when we were little, because we were dirt poor with a dead beet dad.
Mac and cheese from a box ... (no one should eat this anyway)
Oatmeal.
Fish sticks ... (again, no one should eat those anyway)
