I am just a casual observer of LSU hoops. I haven't been excited about basketball in a long time because I really disliked John Brady; had no big qualms with Trent Johnson but he was just not a guy that had an endearing personality or exciting style of bball play.
I am really excited about LSU bball right now though. All his moves so far say that he's not afraid to go toe to toe with the big boys and that is the attitude you need to be successful here.

Borchert is on a Mississippi State visit right now and is expected to commit. Would be an immediate starter there. Good move for him. He's a good player, but more of a perimeter player.

Hammink's 7ft teammate Boris signed with Florida St. I doubt we even offered, but he was a name brought up on here at one point.

BilJ .... we were both hugely critical of the hire but he's doing really well so far. I'm enjoying what he's doing and he's no doubt got my full support. He's already won me over, hopefully it stays that way!

I was disappointed as well, but I think any action at this point helps, and we can't deny the diligence of Johnny thus far. We'll see what we have when it's all said and done, but obviously I'm hoping for good things to come. Bubba, show me a big man committing today!
