Did anyone else go see it yet because I hadn't seen anything posted? I saw it yesterday and thought it was in between decently funny and funny. It started pretty slow for the first twenty minutes or so, and I was really worried about the emphasis on Cameron Diaz' character because it just wasn't working. She got better as it went along and there was more Segel, but still not enough in my opinion. If it wasn't for the beginning, I'd say it was pretty funny. Worth a cheap(er) early afternoon viewing.

Interesting. I was afraid it was going to blow goats, mostly due to hollywood execs still thinking that Cameron Diaz is the same person they cast in The Mask...
But I'm glad to hear this. might use it to plug that afternoon of nothing i have planned tomorrow, ha.

1. How is Cameron Diaz still being cast as the hot bitch in movies?
2. It didn't look that funny to me in the previews but I'm a Jason Siegel fan, so that helps.
3. I'm seeing it regardless because I'm a teacher so figured it'd be entertaining.

I think she's pretty attractive. The casting was more based off being able to play a shallow, drunk bitch rather than a hot teacher. Like I said, I wasn't sure it would work and for the beginning it seemed like it wouldn't. However, it ended up working out pretty well.

I think the only part in the preview I actually laughed at was the offhand way he throws the "Hey, Twilight" line.

I saw it tonight as well. I didnt really think it was great, yes there were some funny parts but cameron diaz was not the right person imo

A friend of mine saw it, and her reaction to it was that if you saw the commercials you saw the funny parts. And those weren't too funny.

If you like Jason Segal, he's the only really funny character in this film. It's a funny movie but it wouldn't be that funny without him.
