Now we get to see the type of man Chip Kelly is...

He suspended Blount for almost an entire season after the Boise State fiasco. He suspended penciled in starter Kiki Alonso indefinately for his part of a bizarre drunken home invasion.
But now his All American CB has been caught doing 118 in a 65, 53 MPH's over the limit, with an already suspended license. Appearantly, that doesn't warrant an arrest in Oregon
, but nonetheless, is something that should not go unpunished.
Will Chip suspend Cliff Harris for the first game of this season, or will he sweep it under the rug knowing he has a top 5 national championship caliber team that he is about to face off with on Sept. 3 in Cowboy Stadium.
Hold on ladies and gentlemen.... Dis gun be good

Nah man, speeding is barely a crime. As someone who occasionally gets my car up to 107 mph (electronically limited) in long empty stretches of central/north LA, I would be offended if this kid lost playing time due to speeding.

Do you have a valid driver's license though?
Posted on 6/13/11 at 2:11 pm to 7thWardTiger
My guess is that he doesn't start.

Good point. My license is indeed valid. I don't know what it takes for licenses to be suspended nowadays. Any idea what the dude did in the first place?

Meh
Guarantee you he plays at least 3 quarters

I wouldn’t even consider suspending him.

First of all...
You're a dumbass.
Secondly... do you have a valid license?
I think this should have at least resulted in an arrest with a quick release on bond. That is way too fast, esp. with a sus. lic.

I don't want any excuses like the bs ESPN kept spewing during UNC game.
Hope he plays.

I would prefer he play. We should torch his arse anyway. He's a decent corner in the SEC. Not real worried.

Nah, you ever driven the route from Monroe to Baton Rouge? Between Sicily Island and Clayton there's absolutely nothing - fair game.
If the cop chose to cite him for speeding instead of arresting him, gotta blame the cop. Don't think a player would get suspended on a speeding ticket, even with a suspended license.

Are you Mark Richt or Phillip Fulmer

Glad I could help

He's playing. UO can't afford to not let him play. They'll give him some form of punishment, but it won't mean anything really.

I haven't, but I see no situation where I would drive this fast. Hell when my wife was delivering our child, I don't think I hit 85.
Not trying to be all high and mighty. You do what you want to do, but if you blow a tire at that speed, Godspeed to ya.

Changed it but maybe I shouldn't have. Who knows with JJ. Sorry 7th, but it's true

Why can't we afford to sit him? Barner can return punts and Hill can replace him at CB. Hill would be better against he run anyway. Our secondary is deep.
Posted on 6/13/11 at 2:26 pm to bisonduck
U will need a run stopper more often than a cover corner anyway. Against LSU of course

So losing your best CB wouldn't hurt you?
