I'd rather move the mound back so we can bunt more

Move in the fences, what a joke!!! This is major college baseball, all fences should be 330 ft down the lines, 375 ft to the alleys, and 400 ft to centerfield!!! Major college hitters are studs!!!

Oh, wait...

Minute Maid Park (315 and 326 down the lines)

Yankee Stadium (318 and 314 down the lines)

Fenway Park (315 and 302 at the Pensky Pole)

AT&T Park in San Fransisco (335 and 307 in right field)

people will laugh but i agree with you. i think 15 ft is too much though. also, dropping the mound a coupla inches would promote more hitting also.

I think 5 to 10 feet would have made a big difference this year. You still have to rely on solid pitching and defense, but when a pitcher makes a mistake it won't just be a flyout to the warning track.

Let's have a constantly moving fence set on a random pattern.

I think we should put a Putt-putt golf course in the outfield. Complete with windmill, dinosaur, volcano, etc.

Solid post.

Stupid post. All of those except for Yankee Stadium have huge fences which is the reason for the shorter distance. And Yankee Stadium quickly jumps out to the power alleys.

Lets have water, rough, and sand like a golf course in the outfield.

Play at Tiger Park...only 200 down the lines and 220 to center.

According to Ronnie Rantz studies/tests were done with new bats and a ball that traveled 400 feet last year only went 375 this year.

Sounds about right based on what I saw at the Box this year. It was evident from the very first game the bats were dead.

So how far would that bomb that Florida hit have gone last year? We were talking about dead bats until that blast.

We cannot determine the answer to your question until the ball does indeed land. Until the ball hits the ground, all we can do is guess. Sorry.

Minute Maid has a hill in center field. Not in the middle but against the wall.

The fences are fine like they are, I say raise the mound 2 more inches and give the pitchers more advantage. If it were supposed to be easy to hit, it would be called softball.

lol. i dont even understand what you are saying. softball is nothing but 1-0 games and chicks throw perfect games like 5 times a year.
