Use to work at the old one and would catch some pretty large king mackeral and spanish mackeral off there. Also caught some nice pompano and lots of other fish on there. Be careful as the leaders are long and people who are not experienced fishermen whip that bitch back like they are casting it backwards. I cut a many of hooks out of people who got caught and it doesn't feel good. If they offer night fishing then you can hook some decent sized shark.

One other thing is the vietnamese would catch Bonita and take them to their truck and bleed them and eat them on crackers. I tried it and if bled the right way it was very good. That being said they would also eat the squid we sold them for bait on crackers. I never tried that shite

I was there a few weeks ago. Get out early to beat the crowd. I saw a few fish caught -nothing to write home about. One dude did catch a 40 lb cobia one morning.

I think most people just do it to relax and have a few cold ones - if they catch anything its a bonus. Lots of locals (rednecks) fish it.
