Are any OTers currently there or have first hand experience of what to expect?
Not experience with oil work, but i was in Minot (flood related) all last year and am flying back in two weeks. It can be pretty boring, but you are about to experience the best summer weather of your life. Blackjack tables in every bar if thats your sort of thing. Food sucks, but the people (locals) are really nice. Provided housing is a huge plus. I think my 2/br apartment is somewhere around $2700/Month. Luckly mine is covered by my company as well. Speaking only of Minot though, never been to Williston which is about an hour away I believe.

Bourbon St on Sat night? (MLK Weekend)

Attending a wedding downtown this Saturday and the plan was to hit up Bourbon St after, but forgot about the holiday. I know it's not like the Bayou Classic, but curious to know if anyone works down there and has any insight.

As I now understand it, you're currently in North Dakota, but your gun is in LA.
This is correct
Guess I'll just have to wait until the next time I fly home and bring it back with me.

Just FYI I contacted FedEx and UPS, they said:
FedEx - One side has to have an FFL, either the sender or reciever.
UPS - The reciever has to have an FFL.

In North Dakota for work and want to do some hunting up here. Is it legal to have my AR mailed up here? On another note, has anyone ever gone prairie dog hunting?
Thanks

Cooking classes
Posted by wes123 on 9/29/12 at 6:53 pm
Me and my fiancé are not the best cooks around, but we love to cook and know our way around the kitchen. Her son, 13yr old, wants to be a chef. I thought it might be a good/fun idea for us to take a cooking class. Does anyone know of any or have any advise? We live on the northshore, but the New Orleans area would be fine too. Thanks in advance!

What kind of sheetpile did you use?
S-850 Shoreguard 16'. They had to cut 4 feet of the top though cause they couldn't get them down any further. That sucked watching that money go to waste.
