Do they hit or field their position worth a damn?

Also, after going through the first eight weeks of the SEC schedule with Kurt McCune starting on Friday night and Kevin Gausman on Saturday, the two pitchers will swap positions this weekend.
I don't understand why he would do this.

Probabaly because Gausman has pitched better the past couple of weekends.

McCune has thrown pretty well aside from Maineri leaving him in too long.

at this point I would let the senior keep his role as a starter, will probably be that last ball he gets to play

Damn,
I was going to start a thread today asking if Eades should replace Alsup in the rotation. The only downside is Alsup not getting to finish his career the right way. And I was also thinking about next years rotation, thinking Gausman was going to be the friday guy, might as well give him a taste. This rotation could be sick next year.

Geaux Eades!!! I am biased but I still think before its all said and done in the next couple of years that Ryan will be our ace in the hole!

I think alsup could do well in a set up role

Could use all the help we can get there, someone to get the ball to Ott from the starters

our rotation should be much better next year assuming Eades rounds out into form and Mccune and Gausman improve

Yep, midway through next year and then his junior year sounds about right to me

too bad we won't have anyone that can hit worth a shite though.

Jacoby will hit, kid is a stud. I have a feeling Katz will be fine at the plate going forward. It'd be helpful if we could get Nola back next year. Other than that, we might not have much as far as hitting goes....need to pickup some guys

We will hit just fine!! As long as UT commits at least 3 errors a game, our bats are gonna be on fire.
Posted on 5/9/11 at 3:21 pm to josh336
Might have to let #37 hit some too...

getting ready for next year!
