Going to the coast this weekend and it looks like the wind may keep us in the marsh. What do y'all think is the way to go? Dead shrimp, spinner bait, cocahoes, DOA, etc...?

My preferred if conditions are crappy. DOA would be second, but they're so freaking expensive that I almost hate using them.

Spot remover. As many(probably more) bites than a spoon with none of the lost fish. They kill that thing.

I have a 1/4 oz gold spoon. Do y'all usually trail it with something?

I didn't. I can't remember what size i used but just make sure it's heavy enough to cast away with.

It all depends on conditions. I like a gold spoon, dead shrimp, or purple/gold or electric chicken plastic cocahoe.

Caught this one on purple/gold cocahoe with yellow jighead. Cast and retrieve.

Seems like everyone likes the spoons. I'll give it a shot tomorrow morning and let y'all know how it performs.

We had live cocahoe last time we went. This was the lone catch though.
