I wish Smith's Creamery made a 2%

Their whole milk is fantastic but it's like drinking unsweetened ice cream as far as calories go.

They have skim but it's just not the same.

I keep half a gallon of Organic Valley milk at work for my coffee because of the long expiration date.

Usually some variety of 2% milk at the house.

Almost seems like an oxymoron

What level of processing does it take to get milk out of soy beans?

So true. But it really just means unsweetened. It tastes like garbage.

I try to use as many of their products as possible. But I can only find it at Robert's and I don't really like shopping there because I impulse buy a bunch of shite I don't need.

good question; doesn't seem natural at all...

we tried switching to soy milk a few years ago. hated it worse than regular milk, and that is saying something. that experiment didn't last long...back to 2%.

I have a 1 yr old so we have whole milk right now. I used to do 2% but I'm enjoying the whole milk. I might now be able to switch back when he gets a little older.

It means it is not genetically modified soybeans. I sometimes use coconut or almond milk too but prefer soy. I try to keep dairy out of my diet and I only use milk for cereal and Smoothies. I don't drink milk plain in a glass ever.
