every once and a while for no good reason, I sing the theme to "Psycho Dad" Al Bundy's favorite show from Married with Children. and with the same enthusiasm.

anyway i wanted to know we could get a thread going with other shows similar to this (i.e. itchy and scratchy on the simpsons) you probably get it, i didn't need the extra example, i'll just hang up and listen.

I don't consider it a favorite, but the only one I can think of right now is All My Circuits from Futurama.

Yes, it's old shite that no one else will care about, but I'll mention it anyway.

Very early in his career Richard Dreyfuss made a movie called The Apprenticeship Of Duddy Kravitz, from Mordechai Richler's classic novel about a young Jew hustling to get ahead in 1940s Montreal.

At one point Duddy meets an English movie director who has ended up in Canada after being blacklisted in Hollywood. Duddy finds him work -- filming a bar mitzvah. Unfortunately, he films it like some pretentious avant-garde experiment, and the audience watches the film along with the bar mitzvah boy's mystified parents. It's a very funny sequence (although in the book it's even funnier).
