Go to Cask N Flagon during one of the Red Sox/Yankees game. It is right next to Fenway and was rated the #2 sports bar in the nation by ESPN. Food is not bad either

These are good suggestions all around. Please report back on what restaurants you liked and didn't like.

Artu (italian)
My wife LOVED this place. I was in a meeting, she walked around......ate at Artu for lunch - then grabbed a cannoli at Mike's.
I heard about it all evening.

If you’re looking for somewhere more upscale, try out Top of the Hub. I took the significant other there, and it was delicious with pretty big portions for such a nice restaurant. It’s also at the top floor of the tallest building in the city so you have an incredible view.
Like some mentioned, I wouldn’t try for much seafood unless you have a spot recommended by some locals; when I went to random spots looking for good seafood it was always bland as hell. Having said that, it’s usually the case for all cities having grown up in Louisiana haha! I’ve stopped ordering seafood outside of Louisiana.

I was there back in March, I had the Lobster Roll at Neptune and it's serious business. Also checked out a couple of newer places that I really liked, cool atmosphere/good food. 94 Mass Ave. - Tapas gastropub type place, and then Island Creek Oyster Bar. yeah, Top of the Hub that's the other place I was thinking of.

Steve's is really really good Greek. There are several and all pretty packed.
