NO SPOILERS

My thoughts are as follows

Jeremy Irons is terrific
the production value is solid, sets, costumes etc.
Obviously in a TV series much of the historical content is glossed over, combined, or ignored
in that vein I always saw Lucretia(Lucrezia) as the most interesting character,, so far (albeit its not even one full episode) she seems shallow,


Cesare is interesting

I don't know about other localities, but Cox has had the Borgias premier available on "On Demand" for a week before it first aired tonight.

meh....

it moved too fast, the characters are rehashed from HBO's Rome almost role for role.

I'm giving it 2 more epoisodes


The Killing is better so far

I saw it the other day, but I am having to stay away from it because have to DVR, then watch on thursdays

Obviously The Borgias are in power for a shorter amount of time than say, Henry VIII and The Tudors. So is this a single season show?

I ask because it seems that the level of drama The Borgias has reached, has happened very quickly!

I think the show is meh. It's ok.

what is the consensus on this show? have it saved up on the DVR.
