Throw out Archx3 now. BTW I would prefer Nehro than him. I love where the Hounds ended up. As much pimping as I have done for him, he will probably run 12th or worse.

I'd rather 20. Gonna stick with him, though

yeah nobody's won it in PP 1 since Winning Colors

just at first glance if MMM stays at 12/1 or worse he'll get a bet from me. Hounds is sitting pretty with that PP, jockey and odds. hopefully he doesn't get bet down too much.

Calvin got a nice draw. he can take Appeal to the rail early with ease.

also, i'm loving Mike Smith on Twinspired at 30/1 in PP 10

Boy and I have a bet that it looks like I'm already pulling ahead in thanks to the morning line

I said nehro at least 3rd choice... He said no way in hell

I think he's getting used to losing to me

think they are doing on with oaks, derby, and woodford (turf race on d day).

I feel so stupid about how upset I am about this Pp 1 thing. I'm really sad for reals....

Since all you guys seem pretty familiar with horse racing, I follow the Triple Crown events every year but that is about it, where do you guys place your bets? I've done it at the OTB twice in the last few years but if there is a safe, legal, and easy online option ,I would prefer that. TIA

twinspires.com

just set up an account (through a checking account if you're able to). debit cards is a longer process and more of a hassle to set up. you can deposit and withdraw funds as you wish. completely legal and the safest online thoroughbred betting site out there, IMO.

I bet they are crowded with new accounts, though. I'd get on it tomorrow...

I'm hitting up the port Allen otb with friends sometime Friday

Jazz Fest has the Fairgrounds OTB all screwed up

wait, I just read in the same article that they're not open until 6:30 on JazzFest days but will be operating during normal hours on Friday and Saturday.

Decisive Moment.. 50-1

worth a 20 dollar bet? I can stand to lose the 20.. If he wins I'll be $1,000 wealthier

She was the 1A and broke from mid pack. Ferdinand was the last from the rail in 86.

I would prefer to place my money on horses with a little bit better chance. Hell, Mine that Bird won so anything is possible.

where did you see 50-1?

i think he has a decent shot given his PP. if he goes to the front early and puts up quick fractions he might have trouble winning it.

thing I like about Moment is that his last race (Spiral) was 1 1/8th and he finished second. that's a good prep for the Derby.
