I read the GI issue on it back in January, and have gleamed the interwebz for all the info that is out there.

Anyone else anticipating it?

I swear I'm not following you around, somehow I think we'd get along quite well in the real world.

Did you see the latest trailer with gameplay? looks sick...

There was also a pretty good preview article comparing it to Oblivion on IGN.

Nov. 11th can't come soon enough, IMO.

I'm ready for it. I decided to pick up Dragon Age Origins just to tide me over.

I haven't played Oblivion since 2006 and am having withdrawals...Fallout 3 and New Vegas and Dragon Age have helped that RPG void inside me out a little bit

...and Final Fantasy XIII made me crave a good RPG even more because that game sucked a big donkey dick and I love(d?) the FF franchise

so YES, I am anticipating it.

my ES IV messed up about 25 hours in (hard drive problems) and I never played it again. Maybe I should give it another shot.

Started playing oblivion again. I may have watched the trailer 30 times so far. So yeah I'm excited for it.

Yep.

Started playing Oblivion again in January. Bought Dragon Age Origins again (after trading in two years ago), but got the Ultimate Edition so I could do all the DLC. Probably going to pick up DA2 in a couple of months. Maybe then I'll play Demon's Souls again this summer to get my mind off of TES.

Trailer

The outdoor graphics look a LOT more authentic (which is saying something considering how fricking awesome the graphics for IV were). I just hope they use more than the 3 or 4 voice-over folks like they did in IV. That, no 3rd person toggle and not being able to precisely place items in the world (like in your houses) were the only drawbacks I could find.

Morrowind, Oblivion, and FallOut all had 3rd person toggle.

This, but they were really awful, and you would never want to use them, unless you are sneaking and need to see around a corner.

You're right, it's been forever since I've played Oblivion and had forgotten about that. Could you rotate it? There was something about it that I didn't like and can't remember what it is (that happens when you get older )
