She’s 2nd in line to the president and was evacuated in a similar fashion as the 1st in line to the President.

The president himself, after saying he’d be at the capital, didn’t need to be evacuated because he went to hide in the whitehouse instead.
Twitter, Facebook, et. al. have policies. Those policies should be enforced evenly across the board. If Trump broke a rule that violates those companies’ policies he should face the consequences, as should any other person that uses the platform. Race, religion, political party, etc. shouldn’t matter. They also should have never made an exception for public leaders as it just created this area of controversy.

Also, it’s the fricking internet and he’s the fricking POTUS and a billionaire. Make another fricking website where you can spew your bullshite and people will still go read it.
I’ve got some personal experience with this one. The truth is there are so many factors that go into attraction that it isn’t impossible for his feelings to change, but it is probably unlikely, and definitely unfair to wait around to find out.

I dated a woman for a few months and she was definitely really into me, but I realized my feelings for her weren’t growing any stronger over time like hers. I was still having fun and she was really amazing, but I just didn’t see a future for us, so I broke it off. Fast forward just a couple months, we had remained in touch, and I was kicking myself because I was falling hard for that woman. But she made it pretty clear I had lost my shot at her.

Fast forward a few more months and I start seeing someone else. I’m not a great looking or special guy but somehow lightening struck twice and I found myself dating another amazing woman, who was head over heels for me. But it was the same situation where I just wasn’t feeling it for her. Not wanting to make the same mistake twice, I stuck with it for waaay too long. I never felt the same way about her as she did about me but by the time I broke it off with her she was just devastated. I’m not sure the extra pain I caused her by keeping at it for so long was worth the 100% certainty I had when I left her. I know for sure she doesn’t think so.

3) LSU has had its most success with white QBs. (its not racist, its a fact.)

Saying it’s not racist doesn’t mean it’s not racist. The fact that this is the correlation you draw between successful vs non-successful quarterbacks is what is racist. Your implied argument is that the quarterbacks are more successful because they are white. Did you consider maybe those quarterbacks were more successful for other, non-race related reasons? Did you look at their 40 times, bench press, test scores? No, you jumped straight to race. That’s what makes it racist.
When we went up 21-17 in the national championship game.

I was sitting next to some Clemson fans at the game who, up to that point, had been pretty pleased with how things were going and they were talking a little trash. I’m not much of a trash talker so I mostly just kept my mouth shut. When Burrow threw that TD to Chase in the second quarter to take the lead, I looked at the Clemson fan to my left and said, “I have some bad news: Our offense is here now and you’re fricked.”
I’ve been following this pretty closely and someone posted somewhere (that I can’t recall) their tax information and it said they get around $100k per year in donations, and spend about $70k per year, with $60k being food and $10k being rent and insurance.
The last time I spoke to him he had not changed majors at all in college, but for him to be in school at 28 I have no idea what was going on. If you would have told me that before all of this, I would have thought he was in grad school or going back for another bachelor's degree, which I guess could still be the case.
At least when I knew him his parents didn't know he was gay, and I never got the impression they talked about things like that. I didn't know his parents, only meeting them very briefly at our graduation, so I don't know what their thoughts in general were on homosexuality, but if he kept it from them I guess he felt they wouldn't be ok with it.
He always had a big nose. We made fun of him for it. He did not alway look that unstable. He was actually gay, and spent a lot of time on his appearance back then. He was much skinnier back then too, but still didn't have much of a neck.
I didn't go to LSU. And I would have only seen him during summer and on weekends... so I never would have seen him go to class or anything, but he moved to Baton Rouge to go to LSU, and there was no reason for me to doubt that's what he was doing. I'm trying to remember if I ever saw textbooks or anything at his place and I just can't. He actually didn't start at LSU. Spent his first semester at George Washington University before transfering to LSU for reasons I don't think he ever told the truth about (grades or parents didn't want to pay, I would guess). He used to have pictures on social media from his time at GWU, but after that he stopped posting pretty much ever on social media, and now everything but his profile picture, which is his dog, are deleted.
It really is. Everything I read about him... reclusive... not social with his neighbors... student at LSU wanting to be a plastic surgeon... parents paying for everything... all of those things were true the last time I spoke of him. I would have predicted a very successful life for him before all of this. Apparently he was just stagnating, leeching off his parents, and going crazy.
Weird - yes. But we were all weird at LSMSA. I wouldn't have said he was any weirder than anyone else there, though some of my classmates have disagreed with me and described him as unstable as we've talked about it the past few days. If he was, it definitely wasn't to a level that was disturbing, at least to me. Drugs, also yes, but again, it wasn't uncommon there. He did go beyond just the normal recreational pot though. Dabbled in Crystal Meth, among other things, but AFAIK that didn't turn into any kind of addiction or anything. He had a handful of really close friends, but wasn't very social in general. Mostly kept to his dorm room except for class and meals, and even meals he preferred to get delivery to the dorms and eat in his room.

Honestly, and I hope I don't regret admitting this, he was a good friend of mine back then. We ended up going to different schools, but I'm from the Baton Rouge area so when I would come home to visit my family I would occasionally visit him as well. Last time I spoke to him was over 9 years ago... we would have both been sophomores in college the last time we spoke. He was arrested from the same apartment complex he lived in back then. He wasn't nice or compassionate, but I never once got an evil or deranged vibe. He had an assholish, derisive sense of humor. He was smart and clever (but definitely not charming), and most of the time even if you were the target of his jokes you couldn't help but laugh.

I cannot imagine what happened to him in the years since we last spoke that could have led to this. I have no sympathy or pity for him, and whatever happens to him next, he deserves it, but I can't help but feel like the guy I thought I knew died with his parents.
He went to Hahnville for his Freshman and Sophomore year, LSMSA his junior and senior year. I graduated from LSMSA with him in 2006.

In NYC today for my first ever away game. My goal is to be the most obnoxious fan possible. Anyone got any good ammo?

The End of the NCAA

Sorry if Germans, but interested in hearing people's opinions on this article.

What would happen if the NCAA dissolved and/or players started getting paid? Would players just start skipping college altogether to go to the NFL (assuming that becomes allowed, which why wouldn't it be in these circumstances?) Or would college ball become the minor league of football (which I guess in some ways you could argue it is already).

Honestly the idea scares me not because I care if players get paid but because I'm not a huge pro football (actually, I'm not a huge football fan, I'm just a huge as hell LSU fan) and I would hate to see college athletics destroyed by this money issue.
this is how you know we are having a hell of a season
Highly disappointing. I was very much looking forward to playing this game.

I swear I'm not following you around, somehow I think we'd get along quite well in the real world.

Did you see the latest trailer with gameplay? looks sick...

There was also a pretty good preview article comparing it to Oblivion on IGN.

Nov. 11th can't come soon enough, IMO.

South Carolina 31 Kentucky 17

As much as I would love this sort of drama at the end of the season, I don't see it happening. Last week I doubt LSU would have been on this list because I don't think a lot of people honestly expected them to be able to compete with teams like Bama down the stretch due to terrible offensive production. Also last week Bama may have been at the top of your list because they looked unbeatable.

Things change way too fast and unpredictably to be able to know at this point in the season who will come out undefeated.
