Just for plinking, showing my kids how to shoot, popping snakes, etc.

I can't decide between the Ruger Single Six and the Ruger Mark III. Both are about the same price. And I'm sure both will last forever.

The Single Six is retro cool. It comes with a separate .22Mag cylinder.

The Mark III I'm looking at is also pretty cool, has 10 rounds instead of 6, is stainless, but has no mag cylinder.

What say the OB?

(I really want both, pretty bad, but just can't afford to do that. )

My dad got my mom a Ruger 6 shooter a while ago for plinking and she still loves it. Looks about like the one you posted but with a wooden handle.

Taurus makes a couple like that. Double action. I don't anything about them though.

Louder than the Mark III you think? I wonder why.

idk if it is louder than any other .22 pistol but I just know your ears will hate you if you shoot w/o ear plugs

Both great choices. My personal favorite is the Mark II.

S&W makes a 10 shot .22 revolver. It costs around $700.

I absolutely love my mark III!!! But then again, the first pistols I ever shot were my dad's blackhawk .22 and his ruger single 6 32 H&R, those are great guns too.

I have a Browning Buckmark that I've had for many years and love it.

I would get the Ruger or the Browning. I think you would enjoy the Semi-suto a little more.

Not sure how much that ruger revolver runs, but you can get the Heritage Rough rider for pretty cheap and it's a good gun. I've had one for a few years and no problems and it's accurate. I have to agree with hat though, the revolver is loud as frick!

Single six is safe.
Had one in SS when I was 17, my first handgun.
Gave it to my brother when he got married and his ex stole it.
I loved that gun.

shite dude. Those Heritage ones look great! Made in the USA, and about half the price of Ruger. That might be a way to get two guns!

I like the weight and feel of the Buckmark, and I think it's pretty similarly priced to the Ruger.

I would also stick to the semi's as well. Lot more fun

Single six no doubt. You can get em with mag and LR cylinders. They are accurate and entirely too cool
