I'll go with Mike Anderson!

I can't believe this name has not been said yet. Revelrolle Swan was a FRICKIN Beast. Until he hurt his neck and had to stop playing.

Laron Landry hit harder than any linebacker we have ever had.

A name not mentioned yet and not the greatest LB but Lionel Turner was a hard hitter.

Roy "Moonie" Winston
Once hit Larry Csonka so hard he thought he broke his back. Larry wasn't a patsy either.
4 Super Bowls with the Vikings
1 National Championship '58 (LSU)

Funny to me to see Swan mentioned. He was one heck of an athlete, but he was pretty small as I remember. Don't recall him being a particularly hard hitter, but I suppose he was. Had a great name, that's for sure.

Roy Winston played OL while at LSU and moved to LB when he went pro due to his size, speed, and toughness.
ETA: The video of that hit is pretty impressive, but I can't find a link.

Damn it to hell, I did not even know Winston played for LSU. Wow they had a hell of a defense and team with the Purple People Eaters back in the day! Who was the other guy(maybe a LB as well, I don't think it was Winston) that was from the Napoleanville area? He use to come and visit one of my best friends family back in the day.
Thanks, now I remember him playing OL and not LB. That is what through me off.

AJD was a ferocious Tiger and a great pro linebacker but I listed Hill over him primarily because he spent much of his time at LSU lined up as a rush end along with Lyman White. But you're absolutely right about him being a devastating tackler.
