Anyone seen this kid play? Looked him up on rivals and it said he threw for 3200 yards and 34 TD this year. Listed as a 2012 recruit but is a sophomore this year according to stats?
He supposed to be a big time QB coming up? 6'4, 210 is very good measurables. Would be nice to be able to lock down a home-town product at QB if he's legit.

He won't play anywhere big. the numbers look so good because he threw the ball 60 times a game. I wouldn't be surprised if he led the state in INT's too. He was 3rd string at uhigh so he switched to st michaels where he could actually play

Here are some stats I found on Duncan at nola.com. They were through the first nine games of the season, and did not include St. Michael's final two games against Glen Oaks and Haughton, games it lost despite scoring more than 40 points in each.
Overall, St. Michael's offense averaged scoring 38 ppg. Through nine games, Duncan completed 182 of 327 passes for 2,337 yds (about 56%) with 20 tds and 10 ints.

I playe with him at Uhigh, and yeah he was 3rd string but he wanted it more then anyone out there. He works harder then anyone else and it showed this year. Coming in to a new school and starting immediately in a new offense and doing how he did is pretty good. I think he'll surprise people next year when he breaks out. I think you'll see him possibly walking on at an SMU or playing at Rice or somewhere like that. He needs to get faster but his arm is great.
ETA: he will be a senior this year.

St. Michael lost their OC, will they run the same offense? Pretty sure none of the other offensive coaches know how to run Vice's offense.

I think Coach Held had a lot to do about that offense as well. I don't see a drop off in offensive scheme next year

I coached Dash last season. I was his offensive coordinator.
Dash is VERY good and will be a recruit. He started this seasons having never started a varsity football game and ended up in the top 5 passers in the state. He has good mechanics, a quick release, and great touch on the long ball.He is football smart and understands the offense as well as anyone I've coached. He was limited mobility wise last season due to some injuries but should be more mobile this season. I expect for him to have another great season at SMHS and to be one of the top recruits in the area.
Also it was not Held's offense and they will continue to run it. its the air raid offense

Look for Dash to go where he can get the best education as well.

Cool.
Do you think Dash is good enough to get offer(s) from the SEC??? (or any BCS schools)

Telling his parents last summer that he was unlikely to see significant playing time at U-High, leaving them with no choice but to transfer should be keeping Chad Mahaffey awake at night. My son knew and played with him for years, and said no one worked harder and put in extra time like Dash did, and I was so glad to see it pay off. He's a great kid, and it's been fun watching him explode the way he has. From what his Dad tells me, Tommy Hodson (who he's been working with for a couple of years) thinks he is D1 material.

If T. Hodson said that, then I believe him.
Sign Dash up, Les.

Dash is getting serious looks from SEC schools and is actually visiting one school this weekend.

If he was only a Sophomore give him the next two years. He could turn into something.

didn't he throw like 6 interceptions in last two games? I think some of you are over rating this kid
