last two games they played last year, St. Michael scored 106 pts total and lossed both games with opposing teams scoring in 60's.

I do not know how many int's he threw for his first season starting varsity in high school. But in any case, if you are digging into that, make sure you do the comparison of int's/attempts.

I was just wondering, obviously he threw the ball a lot. But still, cant be a big time recruit and throw like 20-25 INT in a single season.

If he does it for the next two years, but what if he drops that number to 10-15 throwing the ball that much.

Telling his parents last summer that he was unlikely to see significant playing time at U-High, leaving them with no choice but to transfer should be keeping Chad Mahaffey awake at night.

No, I promise you it's not.

But your right about him being the hardest working guy we had, that dude doesn't give up. He was out there throwing everyday for hours during the offseason an days off during the season. He's gonna make it on pure effort alone. His improvement from freshman year to where he is now is unreal. Hes gonna have a great senior season IMO

Dash did throw some picks the last 2 games of the season. Part of those were the coaches fault (me) and some amazing plays by athletes (Glen Oaks and Haughton).

Dash works harder than any QB I've coached. I've been around some good ones and he was on par with them last season as a junior. If he improves like he will I believe he will sign a division 1 scholarship. He is very smart sos like someone said look for him to be interested in top academic schools but if LSU or Alabama come calling he would certainly take a look.

Look for Dash to throw for 3000 again and the interceptions can be over rated because when your playing from behind and pressing to score touchdowns you make mistakes. We threw the ball 40 times a game which is way too much but was the only way we had a chance

Ok Mr. Duncan! Just kidding...you should be proud of your son, but at St. Mikes they throw the entire game and he had great receivers last year. He will put up big stats, but end up at a I-AA in-State school at best. St Mike's needs some balance on offense and to learn some defense and maybe they will be able to play with teams outside their district. Their schedule is the easist in 4A and their district is the worst in 3A, 4A or 5A in the State.

Matt Barkely. INT's by a young QB can be misleading, particularly in HS.

dash's recruitment is steaming up. :jump1: :jump2: could be too little too late if LSU jumps on his wagon late.

Ummm... no. You'd probably be surprised at the schools highly interested in Dash already.

Not Mr. Duncan. I was Dash's coach last year. At St Michael in order to win games we had to throw the ball. We were usually out athleted and sometimes played from behind. Our best players were recievers so an up tempo passing attack suited us well. If we would have tried to run the ball all game we would have never won 7 games.

Threw a lot of INTS, particularly against U-High and Haughton. But other than this, he actually is pretty solid.

They are 5-0, so I assume they are doing good. The teams in that district are horrible though. They do play Lutcher next week though.
