Mississippi is Saints country!

Mobile, Alabama is Saints country!

What about the rest of Alabama? Which parts are Saints country and which parts are Falcons country?

Thanks.

Thats about as accurate as it gets. I've never met a Falcon fan in Mobile. I work with a Steelers fan(my boss) and two others who are Cowboy fans. When I went out to celebrate after the SuperBowl the reaction was a lot stronger than I expected

Golfer you are wrong about Birmingham. They don't have as many falcon fans as you think. There is a huge saints following here and the steeler fan base here is actually stronger than the falcons

Closer to I-10, Saints.
Closer to I-20, Falcons.
North of the Tennessee River, Titans.

Not as many falcon fans In central al as you think. Anniston east yes I would say Atlanta. Bham is pretty split in 3 ways

I posted this question on a Bama message board a couple of years ago and didn't get one "Saints" response. I got mostly Falcons, Jets or Packers as their favorite NFL team. I know Mobile has always had a strong Saints following though

Just curious because I don't know, who do the Bham Sports reporters cover on Sunday night and in the Monday paper?

To heck with that Bandwagon stuff, Golfer.

The Saints welcome fans from anywhere and anytime.

We WANT Alabamians to be Saints fans and come to NOLA every once in a while to party and see the Saints play.

Since the Saints won the Super Bowl, the fanbase has increased greatly in Alabama

I dunno but would ya say the FOX tv coverage when Atl & NOLA has competing time slot games an accurate representation?

The Fox 6 station here which is the number 1 news station in Bham usually leads with the saints on Sunday night on their sports segment . But lets not got too carried away it's always a dominant Bama/auburn coverage

I would bet in a lot of these areas it varies based on who is the better team that year....

Very true. There is alot of people here that just don't like the falcons. But Bham might be the largest core base of Braves fans outside of Georgia

Birmingham is Saints country. There are a lot of LSU and Saints fans in Bham. Titans are second.

I would agree. South Alabama is Saints territory. North Alabama is Titans. I grew up in Huntsville and no one was a Falcons fan. The Braves on the other hand...
