CLM has unique thought processes, and Michigan is his alma mater.

Why did Rich Rod leave WVU? He could have played for the title in 07 had he beat Pit. Why did Saban leave LSU, he could have won 987654321 titles in one year, but he went to a bad NFL team. Why did Supperior(sp?) leave UF, Meyer leave UF..etc etc.

It ain't always about that.

Let's not forget this same coach considered leaving in 07 when he still had the chance to play for the title in the same season...Pretty hilarious people were laughing at this clown about 9 weeks ago, now are about to cry like little bitches that he may leave.

Well it would be the third time it has happened at LSU (I know the Dolphins aren't a college team, but the comparison fits) if Miles leaves.

Therein lies the dilemna: Miles knows he has the chance to stay and win a championship, but his beloved alma mater needs him.

Does he follow his heart or stay for the chance at a 2nd national title?

Coaches have huge egos. If he takes the Michigan job and turns it around, that is a pretty significant achievement. If he wins an NC, thats even bigger. Maybe his acceptance of the job has nothing to do with the money. Maybe its alll about being the coach who rescues his alma mater rom the wateland of college football.

DUDE...WAKE UP! WAKE UP! MILES has already had success here. he played for MICHIGAN. Have you ever wanted to go home just for happiness sake? LSU has already made the man rich beyond his wildest dreams. It is not about the money.
