I'm so mad at myself for wussing out last night. The weather predicted rain to start at 6am and it's noon now without a drop. Dammit

17 ducks this morning. Pretty chilly, but not too bad. Sleeted like crazy early though.

Almost nothing flying this morning in Krotz Springs. I mean it was the deadest morning of the season. It was actually pretty eerie with the lack of birds of any sort.

Just got back from the blind. 37 degrees, constant rain and 10-15 MPH wind. 2 ducks.

I killed my limit this morning but cheated because they had a couple hundred in my decoys at daylight and killed 4 with 3 shots.

Ducks were flying descent this morning came out with 11 teal and 7 gray ducks..

Ran out to the pit blind early yesterday afternoon and knocked out 10 mallards and 3 pintails. One sprig was banded. Saw tons of flight ducks.
Went a little while this morning before work. When I left we had 15, mostly teal and a couple mallards.
