I agree with the shout out to "To Kill a Mockingbird" (my favorite book of all time, btw)
Also, The Green Mile
Godfather I and II
Apololypse Now
Goodfellas
Manchurian Candidate (modern one w/Denzel Washington)
These are just IMO.

Seeing as only like %5 of America could truly relate to the main character I don't see how this movie gets so much love. I'm supposed to feel sorry for this rich basterd who cheats on his wife and lies and bangs multiple OT 10's not because he has cancer or is dying but because..... Writers block. O god poor guy how does even stand to live. No human has ever suffered sorrow like this director does. I felt like the movie was screaming that at me the entire time.
Good acting, good looking movie and one epic scene. But the rest is an overrated turd served on an expensive plate IMO. Not even close to being "perfect", which is often overused around here.
End rant.

Lots of good ones mentioned already. IMO The Social Network was the best movie made since Pulp Fiction/Shawshank Redemption in the mid 90's.

i dont know what defines a perfect movie, but after taking a few history classes, i realized that forrest gump was an epic time capsule.
