and b/c that is his mindset, is one of the main reasons he is one of the top 3 greatest QB's of all time.

Did he say they were the reason they loss?
Manning knew exactly what he was doing and saying.

I like the way he ran to the end zone last night to get in Whites face for trying to catch that ball he was throwing to Wayne. He's a take charge type of guy and he called out Vander Douce for being an idiot drunk. and he's hilarious on saturday night live and commercials.
I like the guy. Not a douche like Brees.

I don't mind the yelling on the field (sometimes you gotta take control as a QB) but to call out your o-line like that is unacceptable.

He's on TV 24 hours a day. Should be use to it by now.

Yeah, Peyton would NEVER throw his teammates under the bus. Total class.

Anyone who has a problem with Manning is just looking for something to not like him for.
They guy has mastered virtually every individual peculiarity of playing the quarterback position, never misses a start, he's humble in victory, and takes his share and more of the blame in defeat. The guys a pro, and he's all class.
There's nothing bad you can say about the guy and if you do, you either have an agenda, or you're not capable of being objective.
If my children carry themselves as adults the way Peyton has carried himself, I'll have reason to be proud

Don't pretend Brady's never done that either.

I have no agenda. I think he is amazing at his job and top 5 all-time (possibly #1 when it's all said and done). However, something about Peyton has always signaled to me that he's a douchebag w/ a great publicist/marketing team that puts him in commercials/TV appearances to make him appear likable. We all know very little about what he's like when the cameras are off and both of us are just going off of our own perceptions.
For example: A lot of the positive things being said about Manning now were said about Favre 5 years ago. I've always felt the same way about Favre as I do about Manning--Douche w/ an expertly fashioned public image.

Manning has the worst body language of anyone when things aren't going his way. He acts like a whinny 16 year old girl who didn't get a Mercedes for their birthday when the Colts are losing

I'm glad we're all in agreement about this
Regarding that scene on the bench, Jeff Sat. is one of his best friends. That happens when emotions are running high. Saturday didn't like the plays that were being called but, Manning has too much to juggle between plays and pre snap to worry about apeasing Jeff Saturday with the play calling. Manning was right. Just STFU and block the play that's called, he don't have time to explain to the OL the reason for what's being called.

I know what you're saying. It's like "I'm not racist but" then proceed to spew a bunch of hateful shite. However, that's the only game in his career I've ever heard anything like that from him in 12 years as a pro vs 200 other pressers where he's always said the right things. The protection must have really sucked.
I honestly think when Manning is critisized, it's that kind of unexplainable backlash that people suffer when there's nothing really bad to say about someone. Kind of the same phenomenon that surrounds let's say, Tim Tebow, Tom Brady, etc.

Brady has never called out a player in a press conference.

So you can't respect and criticize someone at the same time? I get it, devotion is the only thing that matters.

Sure you can, I only brought it up because I do it myself. For example, I hate Tebow as a player. I never pulled for him at Florida, and, unless his team plays the Falcons or something, I'll probably never pull for him as a pro. It's just, when I stop and think, there's nothing to really not like about Tebow. He's competitive as hell, seems to be a good guy, and probably a hell of a teamate. I just catch myself rejecting and sick of everything that is Tim Tebow but if I take a step back, I know deep down there's no reason not to like the guy
