Richard Murphy's 6th year

I love the kid and have a ton of sympathy for everything he has been through in his personal life. He's a trooper!
But, does anyone else feel it will be a waste of a scholarship next year to have him come back?

It's never a waste to have senior leadership IMO. He'll see time at WR and is an excellent pass blocker.

I wish the young man all the luck in the world after he graduates this year hopefully

he hasn't really provided any thing tangible to this year's team. So, unless he's just suddenly going to become a good football player, his scholarship would probably be better off going to a freshman.
He's been beaten out by every RB on our roster every year he's been on the team. And, he is still getting his chance. Yet, he still is not producing. It's time to move on, IMO.

+1. Hope he gets it if he wants it.

The same fools that want a 5th years senior and proven leader on the offense gone are the same ones that B*tch about not having enough leadership on this team! But this is the rant so all logic must be thrown out.....there should be some sort of IQ test taken before people are granted an account here!!!

The midget isn't in charge any more, Murphy deserves to get another year and deserves to be on scholarship. Miles will, rightfully, give this to a selfless team player that has LSU in his heart.

I have to believe that we will have plenty of players with less talent than him next year, so I wouldn't say we're wasting a scholarship on him in particular. That's just retarded.

Murphy is the best pass blocker we have. You're a god damn fool Doc.

Hasn't he already been here like 8 years!!!! Damn.....another year of spring game hype and no results during the year....Thanks for the memory Richard!!!!!I'm sure he had one good play!!!!

It could only help to have an experienced guy like Murphy back. All of the RBs (excluding Ridley of course) need more guidance. Murphy can coach them up a little.

Let him come back if he wants to. One scholly is not going to hurt us.
