Jesus. Christ.

We didn't even try.

I know you want to put it on the coaching. Blame Chavis. Blame Miles. More power to you guys. But I keep repeating, the spread is supposed to exploit a speedy, undersized defense by making them react to the misdirection in the backfield. That's all there is to it. Saban coaches an NFL defense, with pure size assignment defense in the middle over speed.

Gary said this in the game. a spread offense won't work in the NFL because of this very reason.

Correct.

Plus, Alabama has NOT been blitzing on every down.

They have brought pressure on 3rd down successfully though.

But, it's a major oversimplification to say that if only we had attacked Newton we would have beaten Auburn.

Don't try to talk any truth into these people, giving up 400 yards of rushing would be ok if you jj would have scored more.

I have also heard that LSU doesn't have the line backers to pull that off.

There are people on here that will defend anything

Well we don't. Our best set is nickel and dime in regards to personnel and that is why we've played well defensively in our games. But for that same reason I think it has hurt us in both the Auburn and OM game. We attacked in the OM game, but still got gashed.

If you want to continue to look for supporters like a little bitch on each thread that is fine or you could actually stop acting like a bitch and try to hold a substantive conversation. I know it's tough, you would have to give up making irrational posts that serve no purpose other than to stroke your own posting ego.

YOu don't know much about football do you? The LSU defense is a pressure defense. They live on penetration. Alabama is playing read and react concentrating on containment. LSU was up the field and lost contain.

Finally, someone who gets it. I still think if Davenport hadn't been such a big bust we would have been a different kind of team in the trenches.

Our D scheme could have been better but if you think Cam is playing as decisive and as fired up in this game as he did vs us you are crazy. He has been tackled by several shoe strings, been indecisive on whether to run or throw when flushed from the pocket etc. Cam is playing like a player who is letting the pressure of investigation get to him. I didnt like our scheme, it could have been better, but we were still in position to win if our oline could have contained fairley.

I agree. We attacked OM and they still gashed us running the football.

How long until we move him to OG you think? Or do you think he can be a possible contributor next year?

News flash dumbass, I have plenty of supporters. You are posting in one now. You also were posting in one earlier.

Quit taking it upon yourself to defend everyone and trying to push your point. We get it. You don't agree. Now run along

I thought he was already told to move to OG, but he was resisting it, no? What a colossal disappointment he has been?

he may have thrown for 2 long TDs and still ground out 2 touchdowns on the ground. Scoring 28.

Would that have been better?

I'll entertain this notion for a second i guess.

Only fast players bite on misdirections? or over commit?

fast players cannot play disciplined football??

LSU's defense is littered with NFL players. And it is far from being undersized.

Again, these are just excuses. The defensive gameplan was horrible vs Auburn.

Bama's D, while talented, returned 2 starters this year. They are playing with a bunch of green players on that side of the ball. Not to mention they arent much bigger than LSU, size wise. They are attacking, being aggressive in tackling Newton. Something LSU should have did.

You have to force him to pass.

If he beats you that way, then you tip your hat.

Even in the 2nd half, LSU still didnt put extra players in the box.

Outside of PP Nevis and Kelvin, everybody else is either young or would be lucky to sniff a phone call by a NFL team after the draft is over.

So you are comfortable with saying it is impossible for AU to score 24 today.

Are you being serious here? Our DEs are playing at the same weight as Donta Hightower. In fact, correct me if I am wrong but Keke Mingo is actually lighter than Hightower.

No one gets it.

A different scheme and different personnel...
