If LSU stops Newton for a half, they win the gam easily.

440 yards rushing

Don't know what that says about our coaching staff.

Auburn made some great second half adjustments. Great game, I think Auburn maybe better than many thought.

wasn't an issue of attacking near as much as Bama having the beef up front to disrupt Auburn's blocking schemes and staying at home vs. going for the mis-direction. However, Auburn adjusted and Bama basically quit after getting hit in the mouth...something LSU hasn't done this year

I simply observed that Bama's D played Auburns offense to perfection. The stats show that.
AU 28, Bama 27.

I don't think 'perfection' means what you think it means.

Im not really mad over the misdirection plays. LSU hasnt been able to stop that play since Miles has taken over. Ive accepted that.

However what about the simple QB draw plays that Newton gashed us with? You know, the one where he danced behind the line picking any one of the 2-3 holes that were open to run through, while our D sat back and waited for him to gain a head of steam before we attacked him?

Alabama took that away all game, and did it well. Had LSU done this, we win easily, for our secondary is much better than Bama's. 2 seemingly broken pass plays were the thorn in Bama's side, coupled with their offense not being able to move the ball and keep Auburn off the field in the 2nd half

WTF does good bake a cake mean? Is that supposed to be some kind of a put down?

For future reference, when trying to put down a female for being what I'm guessing is 'female and thus dumb', it would help if you could fricking spell 'go' with two letters instead of four.

Exhibit A why it's useless to try to talk reason to negarantards.

We had about the same amount of yardage as they did in the 1st half.

And you wonder why you are labeled a rantard. You and half the people in this thread have added nothing to the discussion.

at least you are better than the guy that thought 7 was less than 1

talk reason?

you couldn't even put a simple statement of mine into context.

You can try and revise what you said originally in the proper context and maybe i'll entertain it. until then you are just another stupid female who doesnt know shite about football.

You jumped the gun and confused one half with a whole game. You just couldn't wait to attack our coaching staff.

And all I've seen you do since the game ended is backpedal.

Enjoy the crow.

They did adjust very well.

They werent able to run the ball all game.

in the 2nd half they supplemented the running game with short swing passes, short hitches. That put them in 2nd and 3rd and short the whole 2nd half. That fits right into Newton's strength. He is money in short yardage.

I kick myself thinking what we could have done had we sold out to stop the run more. Like I said, our secondary is much better than Bama's. I would have trusted them against Newton through the air. Auburn's 2 biggest plays of the game were seemingly busted coverages anyway. Shame on Bama for not making those plays, it cost them the game.

It's just not as simple as you make it out to be.

Bama's approach was no more affective than LSU's. And you jumped the gun on proclaiming differently.

Take your medicine and admit that you were wrong. It's the best approach at this point.

LSU gave up 440 yards rushing ALONE vs Auburn @ 8.4 YPC

Bama gave up 108 rushing today at 2.6 YPC

Auburn didnt even have that 440 yards in total offense today(324), much less on the ground.

Not as effective? HAHA.

Quit talking out of your arse. Though I am sure you will read this, yet I know you have no response for this already.

Now that the best coach in the history of CFB has lost to AU, I would have expected the usual suspects on this board to let go of their Miles hate.

Not so fast, my friend

So they passed all game instead. LSU held Auburn to 83 yards passing IIRC.

The final result for both games was a one score victory for Auburn. The difference is LSU lost on the road, Alabama lost at home.

You keep talking yards, when everyone else is talking points. LSU'd D held AU to 24 points on the road, whereas the Tide gave up 28 points at home.

Big difference.

You are truly the last of the negapussies who haven't crawled under their collective rocks yet.
