picked last in the catholic league... being a good team will only get you so far. you need talent to win at this point

i'd rank the 8 quarterfinal teams...

1. WM
2. STM
3. Acadiana
4. St. Aug
5. Dutchtown
6. St. Paul's
7. Westgate
8. Jesuit

being a good team got Rummel to the finals last year, yet lost to superior athleticism

Connor McMahon, the QB can throw a bit, and his receivers hold on to the ball (being a Brother Martin parent, watching the Crusaders drop most of their passes, this is something I notice.) TE Tuminello has size and good hands. RB Richard is good, but had Dante Butler, Leonard Fournette and Lawrence Braud also in the Catholic League, all were better than him.

Very well coached, but don't have the athletes WM has. WM should win with ease, 28-14

That would be a great effort by Jesuit to hold WM to their lowest output of the year. WM had 34 last week with 3 touchdowns called back and a fumble at the 3. I think this will be a good game for a half, but the depth of WM will be too much.

I played on the last Jesuit team to travel to West Monroe, back in the '97 state semifinals. We lost 35-7. That was an eye-opening experience. Those dudes were on a whole other level.

That was my senior year. We expected a much tougher game since you beat Shaw that year and that was the team we played in the Dome. We had a really good week of practice due to that win and were very focused.

We played lights out in that Shaw game. Still remember it like it was yesterday.

What position did you play? I was a junior that year. I usually played right guard but played left guard that game since we were on our 3rd string left tackle.

Split End, luckily we used the WR to run in plays or I never would've played.
