I'm really excited to see Bill Nighy play Scrimgeour.

Agree. It's as if she was rushing to finish the end of the book.

my only complaint about the entire series

she spent more time on completely mundane crap throughout the series than she did on the finale of the story

That's ok; Scrimgeour makes me infuriated while reading the book so one scene may be enough for me.

I also will be at the midnight premiere. And back there again Friday at 7pm. Probably the 2 busiest times of release. Already preordered tickets to both.

Also, was reading some more reviews from early viewings and a couple said the theater broke out in applause when Dobby came on screen. So his absence in the last movies may not be lost on the hardcore fans.

Actually, I feelthis is the strength of the books. She meanders around and lets you get a feel for the whole world she's created. It's not entirely plot-driven, like the movies are.

It's my biggest complaint about the movies, which are slaves to the narrative, relentlessly pushing the story forward. It misses the feel of the books.

Saw it last night at a preview and the reviews are correct. It stays true to the book and I am glad they split it into two movies

This was definitely in my Top 3 of the books. Filler??? By George, NO! This was a perfect book. Hopefully they don't destroy it like they did the last few movies
