The game is at 7 PM central time in the New Orleans Arena and will be broadcast on CST.

Portland lost 110-108 at Oklahoma City last night. The Hornets have had three days off.

This is Hornets head coach Monty Williams's first game against the team for which he was an assistant coach from 2005-2010.

Brandon Roy's knee is apparently messed up ( LINK ), but he is expected to play this Saturday.

Monty developed all the Blazer players so he knows their weaknesses. It's at home, they'll be traveling on the 2nd night of a back to back, we'll have a good game plan, players will be motivated to win this one for Monty, the Blazer front court isn't that imposing or deep with the injuries, Artest locked down Roy (8pts on 1-6 shooting) so hopefully Ariza can do similar. All signs point to 8 - 0

Monty has 4 days to game plan against his old team which features a limited Roy, on a back to back road game. Hornets win.

Should be a damn good game. I'll have to listen to it on the radio on my way home from a wedding in P'toula.

All signs point to a Hornets win, unfortunately. Although I am happy the Hornets are playing well. Hoping to see them the day after thanksgiving in Portland.
