You're powers of observation are astounding, but wrong nonetheless.

i just want to see JL play a whole game and see what kind of rhythm he can get into….taking snaps every other offensive series doesnt really allow that

Sorry guys Lee played very little before the sprain! that did affect the rest of his game. If we win Lee will be the one to help us beat Arkansas and Bama. He isn't great but has thrown a good crisp pass all year. The Problem wasn't lee it was the O-line doing a crap horrible job of blocking Fairly.

Lets start Lee one game and see who is our best choice at qb. When Lee comes in, we are usually behind and need a score to either tie or get back in it.
Put the shoe on the other foot. What does JJ do if he comes in for an inaffective Lee? How does he react when the defense knows he can't throw the ball, and are stacking the box. Do you think JJ can pull the game out?

Maybe not, but he's the better option. Hell, at this point I'm all for letting Spencer Ware come in and run a triple option with Ridley and Shep.

This might be the answer, since it is clear that our RB's are way more consistent than our WR's!

Dude, i don't miss any games and haven't for 45 years. Auburn was bringing extra pressure when lee was in the game knowing what he was in the game for. If lsu would just let him run a pro style offense with screen passes, passes out of the back field, slants, sideline routes etc we would be successful. These are plays that we have already ran a during the year. plan the game for once around lee. This game plan would even benefit jefferson.

Don't all QBs hate to get hit? That is why you put a good OL in front of them. That is why you max protect or at least leave a back or two to help protect him. How about mixing the plays up so that the defense just can't pin it's ears back when Lee is in the game because they know he is going to pass on 80% of the plays that he is in?

I still think that Lee could be a servicable SEC QB if we had a decent OC that could game plan to the QBs strengths. Run the football out of a pro set. Play action pass off of that. Throw the ball more than 8 yards to get the safeties out of the box. Throw some screens or draw plays to slow the rush.

We don't do any of that. We put Lee back there with no protection or maybe one block after the DL has been schooling us all game and pass on every down. The DL had to be licking its chops.

Unless he morph's into gumby, he would have had to stretch his arms out four + yards to get the first down.

More importantly, JL did what he was suppose to do on 3rd down. He threw a good pass to a receiver "past the first down marker". He did his job, the receiver, not so much.

Since your not a rocket scientist i'll break it down for you. Having a 315 pound lineman landing on you and your wrist would cause a sprain. Sprains can affect athletes performances. If a QB sprains his throwing wrist his ability to throw the ball can be negatively affected.

Our O line wasn't the answer saturday. They didn't give JLee the time he needed!

CLM, I am sick and tired this 2 QB rotation shite, just pick either JJ or JL and let him play rest of season. We are willing to find out "How good either JJ or JL is". So do not give us this 2QB bull shite. Once you pick you QB for rest of season then we will find out your decision is correct or not. If you are afraid to make choice, I have suggestion for youroll the dice 7 = JL 11 -JJ.

I totally agreed, how hard can it be just let JL play one full game. We had saw enough JJ and he sucked.

JJ or JL are not the answer. Both make me nervous as hell and border line embarrassing. They aren't the answer because Crowton and Miles have failed miserably to teach and develop these young men.

Move Russ Shep back to QB since he is not working out at WR. We knew he was a leader coming into LSU not to mention we need a playmaker at that position right now.

We should not be trying to run the pistol, spread, option, I-formation, Pro-style, etc..

Way too many damn formations which all have different personnel packages along with the same predictable arse plays.

come on dude, you can not be serious. dude falls like a leaf when there is anybody within 5 feet of him.

jj is actually a worse qb, but he has the capability to scrabble when there is pressure (although he couldnt hit the broad side of a barn).

bottom line is we are fricked at qb for at least the rest of this season.

while this may be true, it'll never happen with crowton at the helm. players adjust to him, he doesnt adjust to players

Observation #2: Whose alter are you? I RA'd
quote:

Plain and simple: he's scared of getting hit.

I wonder why they have rules against "roughing the passer?" Coaches are afraid of the QB getting hit too. Telling statement on your part
quote:

He gets happy feet as soon as he gets a rush.

And the fact that JJ had the most carries, means? He gets happy feet, too. So by your logic JJ is not the answer, yet he starts
quote:

He doesn't set his feet and throw.

And JJ doesn't even throw. He runs. By your logic, JJ is not the answer
quote:

Both of which can easily result in INTs

Really? REALLY? Who leads the SEC in ints? Yeah, JJ. By your logic he is not the answer. JLee has 1 int on the season, despite all your BS about how he should have more
quote:

Also, once he feels any rush at all, he crumbles into the fetal position and goes to the ground.

We're going to compare sacks as who should be the answer? Really want to go there?
quote:

Did anyone notice on the final fourth down - sure the play broke down and Tolliver whiffed a block atthe end, but after he scrambled and was running left, Lee had a shot at a first down and just sort of fell away from the defender and lost a yard. If he puts his head down, accelrates and stretches, he might just get the first down.

Did anyone notice how on most 4th down calls, JJ is not even in the game? Therefore, not the answer

Your opinion is useless

I know many of you keep calling for Lee and wondering why he's not in there more or starting over JJ. But take a close look athis play at Auburn and you'll see why. Plain and simple: he's scared of getting hit. He gets happy feet as soon as he gets a rush. He doesn't set his feet and throw. Both of which can easily result in INTs. Also, once he feels any rush at all, he crumbles into the fetal position and goes to the ground.

Bottom line, he gets scared, gets happy feet, doesn't set to throw, and is a huge INT risk.

He's not the answer.

LEE IS the better of the two. J.J. leads the s.e.c. in ints and turnovers. The opposing team has scored first in the last four games off of J.J.'s turnovers. NOT LEE'S.

this isn't a i'm a j. lee fan i'm a j.j. fan thing. i don't care as long as whomever is the qb can win the game for us. I don't believe that is j.j. i want the one who gives us the best chance to win. i'm not saying lee's the answer, just the best chance to win.

p.s. lee completed his first four passes before the wrist inj. against Au. sure would have liked to seen him throw that pass to r.r., we may have been up 7-0 or at least 3-0.
